Growing in Faith

Fellowship: We are growing in God's love together. Join us as we enjoy each other's support and love, at Women's Circles, "Westminster Wednesdays" meals and informal worship, youth groups, and fellowship events.
Worship: Out worship is joyful and intergenerational. From the spirited music to the relevant message, our worship is central to our life here.
Education: We are a growing in our faith. We are growing in our faith. There are classes for children and adults both on Sunday morning and throughout the week. We strive to understand the Bible and to apply its relevance in our lives.

Sunday Christian Education

Rotation Sunday School
Age group: 3 yr old – 5th grade
Our Sunday School is based on the rotation model. Children are divided up into groups that "rotate" into a different workshop each Sunday. The workshops focus on the Bible lesson using different learning modes.   The five different stations are:  Bibleland.com (the computer lab), Holyword Theatre (movie), Parable Place (drama), Thou Art (arts and crafts), and Bethlehem Marketplace Temple (studying the Bible, playing games, science and cooking based on the Bible theme.)  All the rooms are wonderfully decorated to engage the children in learning God’s Word. We welcome all adults to help in the workshops as well.

Sr. High Class
Age group: 9th – 12th Grade
Students apply the Bible to relevant daily topics in a lively discussion format, and get to eat lots of donuts. Once a month we have youth band rehearsal.

Confirmation
Age group: 6th – 8th Grade
Confirmation is an important step in the life of our youth here at Westminster. It is a three-year process whereby our students learn what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ and to be a member of a Presbyterian Church. Those who are in 8th Grade will have the chance to become members of the church in a special service in the spring.
